My Shiny New Blog!!

After months and months of computer frustrations, I'm so excited to say that I'm finally back on track! Yay!  I've finally gotten the hang of the new computer, my prints are looking good, I'm starting to catch up on my work (not yet, but I'm starting to see light) and to top it off today's the day I get to show you my shiny new blog!!  During some of my down time, waiting on lab issues to be corrected, I was able to work on a new blog design.  And the fabulous Lee from updatedwebsites.com  has been working diligently to bring it all to life for me.  Seriously, if you're in need of a blog face lift, Lee's the guy to talk to.

So, now that I'm back on track, I have a ton of pictures to post.  I'll start with a few more of Scott & Anna.  The previous posts were from a bridal shoot we did.  But these are a few from their wedding.  Scott's little brother was the cutest!

I've got lots more pictures to work on and can't wait to post them all.  Once again, I just want to say "thank-you" to all of my clients for being so patient and hanging in there with me.  You guys are awesome and I feel so blessed to have gotten to know each of you (sounds sappy, I know, but I mean it, you're the best).

Late Night Bloggin'...

Ahh, late night posting.  What else is there to do at 4:00 a.m. when you can't sleep ;)  I can't even believe that it's been almost a month since I've posted on my blog!!  In my entire blogging history, I've never went that long.  I'm so sorry for those of you who are still waiting to see pictures, or for those who just like to pop on to check out what's going on.  Lots has happened since my last post (good and bad).  I'd love to share all the good with you, but instead I feel I need to explain the bad, so some of you know why your pictures haven't been posted.  Rather than bore you with details, I'll just say that these past 4 months have been the most trying I've ever had in my business.  Just to briefly explain, I've had major computer issues that had started out as just frustrations, but ended up in the last month, bringing my whole workflow to a standstill.  At the end of this wedding season it felt like I was trying to run in water (no matter how hard I worked, I could not catch up). But then my computer started to get wack on me and ended up turning, what started out as a slow run, into more like me sinking in quick sand!  Add to that major issues I've had with my new lab, and let's just say, I feel like I've been in a battle trying to get back on track.  But I'm happy to say, that I think I'm starting to get my groove back.  I'm just waiting on some last prints to get here from my lab, and if they're what I'm hoping for, then I'll be back in business!  So, hopefully, by the end of the week, I should start posting every one's pics again.
Bryan said to me the other day, "With every trial there's a lesson. What do you think God was trying to show you through all of this?"  You know, to be honest, I'm not really sure.  I do know that this next season, I will strive to have balance.  I'll try hard not to pretend to be Super Woman, and think that I can do it all.  I'll try more to limit the work I take in.  (But that's a hard one.  It's hard to say no when you love what you do.)
Anyway, since I couldn't sleep, I felt like it was a good time to get my blog rollin' again and to also explain to my clients what the heck has been taking so long.  One good thing that has come out of this, is that during some of my down time, I was able to design a new blog.  Something I've been wanting to do for about 2 years!  It's almost finished.  I'm just waiting for the fabulous Lee from  www.updatedwebsites.com  to make it all work for me.  So, hopefully, my next post will be on my brand new, shiny blog!  Can't wait!
I never like to post without a picture or something entertaining to leave you.  Sorry this post is so boring, but tonight, I'm going to have to pass.  I'm getting tired and need to go back to bed.  Thanks for understanding.  G'night ;)
